Who am I
Infact this is not a question but an answer answering itself. On asking/questioning yourself Who am I, you wouldn't be sensing any new 'I' which you aren't already concious of. It is through you that it exists/projects itself. This experience is not of the body/can never be limited to the body. It is the premises of the heart. All this is the endless beauty of your inner self. You usually experience this through your body or in the form of nature. But when you look into yourself with concentration, Who you are will turn out to be a source of experiencing which is illuminating as the pure self.
When you for yourself let your experiencing within you just flow as the 'I', you will witness that it's what you really are. But when you let others assist you/when you get inspiration from others about your being, you'll end up being something which is not the real you. Who are you? What lies in you except your own self. What stopping you from experiencing the 'I' as the 'I' and you as you. The only obstacle is the lack of will power/lack of interest/lack of introspection that you must've for yourself and don't say it's because of your Karma. It's not that you are not aware of yourself or don't know who you are. It's something which is naturally beautiful, a boundless sweet and tender ever present truth which is in you. Aren't you aware of how to dive deep within yourself and stay blissful?
Saranagati
To surrender doesn't mean to bow down. It's not be controlling or ignorant in heart. It's not something which is described in scriptures or Vedic texts and not all the religious definitions. Surrender means to stop. Steadily and calmly stop
It is being as yourself without saying otherwise. There should be no commentary or clarifications going on within you. Merging with such pure and highest form of solitude is True Surrender. To surrender is never of the mind/ never based on your nature. Until you are aware of this fact you will always look/develop a need for reasons/explanation in your surrender. You will always lean on others for help. A vast and limitless treasure is in you which is totally indifferent to all. Merging with your natural state, a state in which your creation/existence is absent is real surrender. That is the origin.
Otherness
An experience that is not yours/ outside of you, all that is the experience of others. You are not your experiences, you're not your opinions, you're not how you see yourself. Your act of birth is also told to you/decided by others. You are not present in any of these explanations about yourself is what I'm trying to say. Before you/ prior to you, there was nothing. It's only after you that there's all this/everything. You somewhat have experience of yourself but what experiences are not yours, you take them into consideration. They are not your experiences. All that is not you.
When you look into yourself to know know your Self/being is when you strengthen your own experience. In your experiencing, others will be removed/put aside. You are pure unalloyed awareness in which there is no question or space for others. Dive deep into yourself. Investigate the 'I' which is your only experience. You should merge with your Self. There are no others at the source of your sweetest inner self. You've to understand this one thing that the 'others' who do not exist inside of you are keeping you in a dilemma outside. When you don't know yourself/ have no clarity about yourself, the others who are around you will tell you who you are and what are your experiences.
Acceptance
The roots of one's bhakti lies in his sole acceptance. It is your acceptance alone which will differentiate you from all your doubts and will bloom into this divine peace.
Just to seek refuge from all the mundane affairs around you, you've got to accept them all. A family is not your problem, but it's the different mentalities/personalities of each member. So why not accept all of them as the nature of God itself. To add to that, why not consider your own personality as the will of God and all your thoughts/ different perspectives as God's presents for you. And this is for your own comfort born out of efficiency.
Or why not also accept the constantly changing environments by bowing down to them.
There's no higher stage in sadhana than totally staying unrelated/indifferent to your being and to all your situations. There's no perfect state other than this.
For you not being still is due to your own denial. Your own denial is your own pain.
There's a need for you to come to a conclusion that it's your own acceptance which will determine on how firm bhakti is and how effective an individual you are.
Wisdom
Knowing or understanding means to comprehend or the ability to understand. The highest form of wisdom, the highest form of yoga and the highest form of service is to skillfully/effectively understand a particular thing.
Firstly, you've the understand yourself, your situations and this magnificent creation of yours. You'll have understand or know your character/nature, a world that is of your creation and a God whose of your creation. And more importantly you'll have to understand the/your Guru. With the understanding of the Guru also comes the understanding the base/source of everything else. A competent guru can only provide you with proper understanding. No one can inspire/encourage you as much as a Saint or a holy man does. The mightiest and a powerful step in knowing yourself is Guru. You might not acquire knowledge/gyana through your experiences. But you'll know how to live. A controlled and a steady perspective will develop in your life. You'll know how to co-ordinate your mental decision with the behaviour of others and lead a balanced life by developing your own unique knowledge or perspective.
(Your way of living doesn't evolve with the ever changing 'Now'. A very subtle and precise analysis within yourself is needed for you to understand that your understanding of it is only after the whole process of this evolution is complete.)
It's your understanding/knowing/comprehension that is running/present during your inner journey of self-knowledge and is never framed by the others. Than any tapas or sadhana, than the masks in the name of liberation and bondings and than the disgusting talks that are heard from the ignorant religions, you'll come to an understanding that it's your self-introspection that does good to you. And when you develop this sort of understanding, then you'll witness/experience true solitude-Itharamu
